Every collection is built from moments locals recognise instantly — and everyone else has to reason out. Pick a country, guess where and when each scene happened, and add the moments you think are missing.
Your best run in each collection earns Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. Track the whole board and see which medals you're closest to.

A country collection is a set of HistoryGuesser rounds set in one nation's past. Each round is a 360° scene from a real moment — no caption, no label. You look around for clues, drop a pin on the world map and pick a year. Countries with at least three built rounds are playable; the rest are still being assembled from player suggestions.
Round counts are printed on every card above, so the playable ones are the countries showing a number rather than 'help build it'. The United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy and Egypt have the deepest collections today, and new rounds land every week.
Yes. Every country page carries a chronological timeline of moments worth guessing, a short guide to reading that country's architecture, landscape and period tells, and around ten trivia questions with the answers printed underneath — enough for a pub-quiz round or a classroom warm-up on its own.
Open the country page and use 'Suggest a moment'. Tell us what happened, roughly where and roughly when. Suggestions are reviewed, built into 360° rounds and credited on the page — that is how collections grow from empty to playable.
No. Every country collection, the daily challenge, the quizzes and the leaderboards are free, and you can play without an account. Signing in saves your XP and moves your character forward through history.
Then you're the right person to open it. Pick the country, name five moments you'd recognise anywhere, and the builder drafts the scenes, years and factoids around them — the collection goes live the moment you publish.
